Nicola Atkinson in conversation about her solo exhibition of new works in Linlithgow with Lynsey Moyes, who is a radio producer who has created audio arts content for BBC Radio Scotland, BBC Radio 4 and the Glasgow International Festival of Contemporary Art.

A solo exhibition of new works Nicola Atkinson

‘Nicola I thought the show was beautiful, and very much of you. It occurred to me this morning that many artists would shy away from a space with so many windows, but your pieces are redolent of curtains, and I don’t mean that in a derogatory way! They do an odd thing of being like window coverings in that space, but not on the windows! It is a wonderful and very unique space and the art is in tune, so the whole piece sings with the space. I think it’s all the pieces together, arranged and talking together in that space, with the bus stop outside its beautiful’
